So many late nights I spent alone, listening to Faith Evans whollop, “You Used To Love Me.” Her voice was full of passion, pain and pleasure and I shared the sentiment. Times I was falling in and out of love, or crying myself to sleep at night, because the love was not at home or didn’t return like he was supposed to. A woman has to undergo many trials and tribulations oftentimes, to become who she is meant to be. Faith Evans has carved out an independent, unstopable woman with aria that too, don’t stop. During her listening session in Milwaukee, March of 2005, she was the same, in control, self-assured and pleasant. She is a woman you know, don’t know and want to know. You just gotta have, Faith.
